We understand there’s a lot to consider when looking for event decor and styling. You may be asking yourself a bunch of questions in regards to booking, policies, and procedures. Rest assured as our team is here to make sure you have a stress-free event. We invite you to browse our frequently asked questions to get a better understanding about us. Q: Does Blow Your Mind Designs require a deposit?
A: Yes, in order to hold your date we require a 25% deposit of the total balance.
Q: Do you have any minimums?
A: The minimum to book with Blow Your Mind Designs is $350, not including delivery and taxes.
Q: Do you travel?
A: Yes! We will meet our clients near and far. We proudly service clients throughout Connecticut and New York. Please note, a travel fee of $1/mile will be calculated and included in your event balance.
Q: How early in advance should I book?
A: As early as possible! It’s never too early to book in advance and oftentimes it’s much safer to do so. Even if you don’t have a venue secured, we kindly suggest booking for event decor and styling. We accept bookings months in advance and can take short notice bookings as well (with 7 day notice). Bookings cannot be made no later than the Monday the week before the event date (Balloons and minimal backdrop options only)
Q: When do you arrive to set up?
A: Our team requires a minimum of 1.5 hours for focal point installations and 2 hours for full event decor. We’ll arrive as early as the venue allows (sometimes even the day before if we’re available).
Q: When is clean up/pick up time?
A: Our team will be on site within 30 minutes of the event end time to pick up all decor and installations. We do not offer pick ups after 11:30pm and will need to make arrangements for next-day pick up.
Q: What does the booking process look like?
A: We make the booking process super simple!

We then plan and begin to coordinate event decor
Two weeks prior to your event, you’ll receive an email with last minute details such as the floor plan of the event, on-site coordinator, etc.
